Terms and Conditions

Terms of service for genetic testing provided through the DNAtest.cz portal.

Effective from 14 March 2026

1 Service Provider

The service provider is Advanced Genetics, s.r.o., registered at Politických vězňů 911/8, 110 00 Praha 1 — Nové Město, Czech Republic. The provider operates multiple product brands and domains in the field of genetic testing. Contact: info@dnatest.cz, tel. +420 800 888 362.

2 Order and Contract

  • By submitting an order through the online form, you make a binding proposal to enter into a contract for the provision of genetic testing services.
  • The contract is concluded upon the provider's confirmation of the order, which you will receive at the email address you provided.
  • Prices are governed by the price list valid on the date the order is submitted and are inclusive of VAT.

3 Payment and Delivery

  • Payment can be made by credit/debit card (Stripe) or by bank transfer.
  • The sample collection kit is dispatched on the next business day after payment is received.
  • Results of standard relationship tests (paternity, maternity, siblingship) are typically available within 5–10 business days of the samples arriving at the laboratory.
  • For other types of tests (genealogy, nutritional genetics, non-standard sample processing, etc.), the usual processing time is 4–8 weeks.

4 Withdrawal from Contract

  • As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of the date of conclusion of the contract (in accordance with Czech Act No. 634/1992 Coll. and EU Directive 2011/83/EU).
  • Once the collected samples have been delivered for processing, withdrawal from the contract is no longer possible, as the service has been commenced with the express consent of the consumer (Section 1837(a) of the Czech Civil Code).
  • An unused and undamaged collection kit may be returned within 14 days — in such case, we will refund the full order price.

5 Liability and Limitations

  • DNA test results are informational in nature and do not constitute a medical diagnosis. For health-related questions, always consult a physician.
  • A verified PROFI test (with personal sample collection supervised by our staff) is intended for official purposes (courts, authorities); however, it does not always replace an expert opinion. The admissibility of evidence is determined by the relevant authority.
  • The provider is not responsible for the quality of biological samples supplied by the customer. If sample quality is insufficient, we will contact you to discuss the next steps.

6 Final Provisions

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and the relevant European Union consumer protection legislation.
  • Supervisory authority: Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), www.coi.cz. For online dispute resolution, the European Commission's ODR platform is available at ec.europa.eu/odr.
  • Personal data protection is addressed in a separate document — see the Privacy Policy page.

These terms and conditions take effect on 14 March 2026.
